Perspective Matters
It is important to be able to see a situation from someone else’s point of view on sports. Everyone has different opinions on sports; even if students love them or hate them it is important to understand the other people’s point of view.
Not everyone on the planet loves sports. Some people think it’s boring to watch or even boring to play, while others love them. A lot of people do not like sports for the simple fact that they seem boring and pointless. It is important to know that some people are not fast, agile, or good at smashing people to the ground. Some might enjoy the simple pleasures of art or music. Some people are not athletic and some cannot stand a gym class let alone a sport. Sports are good for students, scholarships and even possible futures but not everyone finds sports to be the most exciting thing in the world. Students might not even like sports because they would rather go home and sleep then work and play with a team. Not everyone sees the joy of working hard and winning a game. Some individuals might enjoy hanging out with friends rather than having a busy sports schedule. Sports are beneficial to those who enjoy them, but for some students they would rather stay at home. Sometimes anxiety issues or other problems come into play with it. Not everyone enjoys the spotlight that comes along with sports.
The most important thing to know is to see both sides of the story. Some enjoy sports and some do not. It is important to remember that everyone had their reasons for their opinion on the matter. Some people could care less about sports and some people are die-hard fans of them. It all depends on the person, and everyone has reasoning for their opinion.
