There are many things that I am thankful for that have happened this year.

One thing that I am thankful for that happened this year was being able to visit my grandmother out in Kansas. We do not get to see her very often but every summer we are able to go and visit her. I am thankful for my family, and all of what they have done not only for me but for each other. I am thankful that we have a very close family, even though it is large. Some families are not as close as our and I could live without most of the people in my family. I am thankful for my cats, I sound like crazy cat lady but I appreciate that after a long day I can curl up and sleep with them curling up around me. I am thankful for my baby sister that is on the way. They are not sure what they are going to name her but I know she will be just as awesome as me. I am thankful that my grades are much better this year. Last year I was too stressed out with school and trying not to fail. This year I am more equipped to keep up my grades. I am thankful for my mother; I do not know what I would do without her. I am thankful for all of my friends who know how to keep me grounded and moving forward. I am thankful for music; I would not be the same person without music. I am thankful for band because they are my second family. I am welcome and feel appreciated with the band; I have a sense of belonging.

There are many things that I am thankful for this year. I am thankful for everyone, good and bad, who have made me into the person I am today. I wish I could show much I appreciate everything.
