Thankful for Many Things
I’m honestly thankful for a lot of people this year. There isn’t just one person that I feel the most thankful for because there have been so many people I’m very thankful for. First I would start with my family. My mom and dad have been with me through everything this year and have pushed me to become a better person. They have urged me to be the best I could possibly be in athletics, academics and also my relationship with God. Without them, I wouldn’t be the person that I am today. My family outside of my house has also been a driving force in my life, as they have supported me as much as my immediate family has. I would then move on to my football teammates. For nine weeks plus, I considered all of those guys my brothers. We experienced the agony of defeat, as well as the thrill of victory over those weeks and even though the season didn’t go exactly how we wanted it, I couldn’t be happier with how we became closer as a team. I built relationships that will last a lifetime and it was some of the best times of my life thus far. Finally I’m thankful for all of my friends. Starting with my girlfriend Kayla, we’ve had a blast this year and I’m looking forward to many more great memories with her. Then I follow that up with all of my boys. We have great times day in and day out and I couldn’t ask for a better group of guys to be my friends. The list goes on, but those are the main people I’m thankful for.
