For those unaware, a nor’easter is a storm along the East Coast, and they’re frequent the most between April and September. The East Coast has been suffering this week due to a nor’easter, and there’s only more rain and snow to come.
The major storm has brought heavy snow, rain, and high winds to the Northeast. In parts of New England, there was 2 feet of snow expected. In Gray, Maine, there was a total of 17.4 inches of snow as of Thursday, April 4, night. Wind gusts had reached 50 to 60 miles per hour, and because of the wind and precipitation, there were 435,000 power outages between Maine and New Hampshire. Many places flooded, especially those in Pennsylvania close to us: Waynesburg, Jefferson, and Carmichaels all had flooding. According to the weather service, this has been the biggest nor’easter since 2020.
