On the night of Easter Sunday, March 31 2024, a burglary happened in San Fernando Valley. It is said that as much as $30 million was stolen from a money storage facility.
The FBI told CNN Thursday that they were investigating “a large theft.” They are not allowed to give out much information on the burglary, but they are working with LAPD on the investigation. The burglar was able to sneak into the building and vault without setting off any alarms. They compare this burglary to one that happened September 12, 1997, when $18.9 million was stolen from Dunbar Armored Inc. facility on Mateo Street.
