As more days go by, people start to wonder is there really going to be a tik tok ban? We have heard about it for many months about the app being banned and when it will happen. But the question is, why do we have to ban it. A lot of people think that the reason why they want it banned is because we’re sharing government information with China. While others think the real reason is because of how much hate goes around on the social media app.

But the government has told the company that owns tiktok that they have 90 days to sell or hand over the app to us. Now that a month has passed, there are people saying that there are TikTok creators that are suing the government for being unconstitutional. What will happen if the app does get banned though?  What does that mean for us? Well, it would leave a lot of people mad and with the large population and countries that use TikTok something worse could happen once it’s banned.

There have already been so many protests about this ban and it’s getting out of control. Though would it be a bad idea to get rid of it? People have been using TikTok ever since 2016 and it didn’t get popular until 2020 when the massive Covid pandemic hit. So what will happen if this popular social media app does get banned? And will it make things worse?
