Mackenzie Mobrey-Hague is a junior and a member of the cheerleading squad.

“We are mainly there to cheer on our team and get the crowd going. To accomplish that goal is quite rewarding,” said Mackenzie. She likes to pump up the crowd. She knows she is accomplishing her goal when her cheers have paraded the crowd and the field.

Mackenzie has been cheering since third grade. She some time off so this is only her second year cheering for the high school. She is a base in her mount group. Mackenzie really enjoys being part of a team. The team aspect and bringing entertainment and encouragement to others is what made Mackenzie want to pursue cheerleading again.

“At cheer camp we are not only learning cheers and routines, but we come together and work as a squad. Cheer camp is the place we create friendship and memories,” said Mackenzie. She looks at cheer camp as a place she learned new things about cheerleading and about her squad. It was her favorite memory of cheerleading.

She is glad of the decision she made to start cheering again.
