Fall Back
There’s going to be a time change on Sunday, November 2nd 2014. Which means we gain a hour of sleep. Which also means less tired students which then means less students falling asleep in class and failing that class. Some positives things about this is that students will gain a hour of sleep. Some kids need an extra hour of sleep however; some kids don’t. An hour of sleep can definitely help students that are in sports and that are exhausted when they get home from a late practice or game. The extra hour could help them get through the school day. It can also give a student the right amount of sleep so they won’t so tired in school and fall asleep during an important lesson which causes them to fail that grade which means there parents won’t be very happy with their son or daughter. Same for adult, this extra hour can make them ready for the day and not so sluggish while they’re working. Which if they are they could possibly get fired or laid off. No parent or adult would want that. Also if someone gets too little sleep they could become agitated and moody. So this extra hour will be perfect if someone is moody and agitated due to less sleep than what they needed or wanted. Everyone needs just a little bit more sleep to get them through the day, but not too much because too much sleep will make you tired just as much as too little sleep. Even though its just an extra hour of sleep for one day people still need it. These were some but not all positive things that’ll happen when we “Fall Back” on November 2.
