We have many holiday traditions in my family that I would like to carry on, but the most important one is on Christmas Eve. We always attend church on Christmas Eve and I feel that this is when it starts to really feel like Christmas. After church we always go over to my cousins house until around mid-night then we return home. I feel like this is important to carry on this tradition when I have family of my own because we get to spend some valuable time with my family and have many  laughs. I also believe that it is important to keep this tradition intact because it helps us to remain in close contact with that side of our family. It is important to me to go to church on Christmas Eve because it was what many generations of my family have done in the past.That is another reason why I would carry on traditions, is because of how many years my family has done it. My family has been doing this before I was born and I know that they would want me to keep on doing this every year that we possibly can. This is why it is important for me to keep on doing this family tradition.
