School Delays
School delays and cancellations can either be a positive or a negative depending on whose perspective you’re looking at. Delays are positive for the students because it gives the students an extra 2 hours of sleep or time to do whatever before school. The best thing about delays is that the school doesn’t have to make up the time lost during the delay. The only negative to delays is that some classes are shortened, and the winter starts towards the end of the second nine weeks which is around the time that midterm test and projects are being worked on. The delay will shorten, even possibly cancel the class that you have a mid-term in making it almost impossible to finish or even start the mid-term because of it messing up schedules. Cancellations are just bad because it will take off a day that we were supposed to have off later. 1 or 2 cancellations is okay but a whole week of cancellations is just terrible, because of it taking off days off summer break leading into June.
