Midterms

The mid-term grade is one of the most important grades for the student in the school year. Mid-term grades are just as important as the final grade, it’s a grade by itself, and appears on the report card as its own grade. When finals are averaged in with your mid-term grade, it makes up a big percentage of your last letter grade that goes on your report card. Mid-term tests are one of the ways that a teacher can see if a student can apply what was taught throughout that one semester. Tests are more difficult than projects because generally they are more difficult than a project. Projects are easier than tests but most of the time projects take longer to do than just taking a test. Projects are long, but easier to score on because rubrics make the project easier. Rubrics are basically the equivalent to answers for a test; they tell you exactly the guidelines that your project should follow. Projects are way easier than a test; a project is basically a test with the answer stapled to the back.
