How To Spend Valentines Day
Valentine’s Day, most girls can’t wait for that day to arrive. Even boyfriends can’t wait for this day to be able to show their love for their women, or if he’s a player than he can show his love for his other girls, but of course there are girls and boys who hate this holiday. Those girls/boys are usually the lonely and single ones.
Brooke Weir was interviewed by Shanyce Hewitt on the topic of Valentine’s Day. She was asked how she will be spending that day, Alone? Single? Or with a boyfriend. She replied with “Alone and single.” She then was asked why? She Answered with “Because I don’t have a boyfriend, even if i did I wouldn’t spend that day with him.” The very last question she was asked was how she’ll be spending Valentine’s Day? What’s her game plan. She gladly said “Like every other day/night.” This is “Watching Netflix while stuffing my face.” What a great way to spend a holiday, or any day for that matter!
You don’t have to be in a relationship to have a fun Valentine’s Day. That’s the thing most girls in this generation don’t truly understand. No one needs a guy or girl to make them happy (dating wise that is). Yes, it’d be nice to get cute stuff from your boyfriend or girlfriend but hey! Instead of spending money on someone else, spend it on yourself! Besides, no one knows you better than you know yourself.
Caroline Dephillips was also interviewed. She was also asked the same questions as Weir. Shanyce asked her how you will be spending Valentine’s Day. Dephillips replied with the same answer as Weir “Alone and single.” She then was asked why? She replied with a rather hilarious answer. She said “Well I like boys, but boys don’t like me.” Story of most girls life don’t you say? You like someone but they don’t like you back. Everyone has been there at least once. Dephillips was finally asked how she will be spending, what’s her game plan. She said “Eating a whole lot of Chinese food while watching Netflix.” Hey! Maybe Dephillips and Weir can have their own Netflix party. That would be pretty cool.
Valentine’s Day is just like Halloween but not as scary. Instead of dressing up to get candy you give candy to your crush or just to give it to someone. It’s okay to spend Valentine’s Day alone, there’s nothing wrong with that at all! You don’t need a significant other to buy you stuff. You have friends, family but mostly important; yourself. Well, Happy Valentine’s Day everyone.
