The new scheduling system has its advantages and disadvantages but it will be a more efficient way of scheduling. Having the booklet online and not having to print the papers for the booklet saves a bunch of paper and time. Having the booklet online and not having a paper booklet can prove to be a disadvantage to some of the students. Some students might not have access to a computer at home. This problem can be solved by using a computer at the school but some students do have the time or chance to stop in a lab and do their scheduling. The paper that students use to create the schedule is much easier to use now. The paper has the classes and the length of the class that tells the student whether it’s a full year or a semester class. Also another advantage of the new scheduling system is getting the teachers recommendation on what class a student should take the following year. This allows the student to feel like the class that is given to them the following year won’t be unpredictable and might find themselves in a class that is along the academic line that student can handle. The new scheduling system has its advantages and disadvantages but will prove to work very well in the future.
