Social Media
The social media site that seems most influential to teens nowadays is twitter. Some people may ask, what is twitter? It’s a great place for keeping people informed on what you are up to without the need to spend a lot of time crafting an entire post on the subject. You can just say what’s up and leave it at that. Twitter is a 140 word count per tweet, any higher than 140 it won’t be posted. Twitter is an easier way to keep in touch with friends and family. Twitter also has the advantage to DM people which means direct messaging. It is nice because it’s easy to start a trend just by hash tagging a word. Sometimes you’ll get lucky and your favorite celebrity will notice you if you @ them or even hash tag them into a tweet. That’s always the best feeling when they notice you. Another social media site that seems most influential to teens is Instagram. Instagram is a social site where people all over the world can post pictures for others to see. Instagram is a fun and quick way to share your life with friends through a series of pictures. Take a photo with your cell phone, and then choose a filter to transform the image into a memory to keep around forever. By posting these pictures, you can sometimes gain followers if their interested into what you post.
