The most influential media outlet for teens today is the internet. In this generation with the new access to electronics, the Internet is definitely the most used by teens.  Although there are many media outlets including newspapers, magazines, radio, and television they are not as advanced and widely viewed as the Internet by teens. With electronics like laptops and cellphones the access to the internet is always there in the palm of your hand. This makes it easy for teens to spend a lot of their time on the internet especially on social media, Sites such as Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook are all widely used across the globe today. All of these sites previously mentioned are an easy access to the news.  Whether the news is about celebrities, something happening local, or even nationwide a teen will always be able to find it on one of those sites. There are even websites such as Yahoo or Google news that will update a teen on what is currently happening. This is why with such easy access and with how many teens have social media or access to a phone or laptop that the internet is the most influential media outlet for teens today.
