Riley Payo is a sophomore and a member of the cheerleading squad.

Riley’s favorite sport to cheer for is football. “I love cheering at football games. I like being able to watch the football games and cheer for them too. I love supporting our Rockets. I think cheerleading is absolutely needed when it comes to football. The football games get intense and I love that as well.”

Riley sees herself continuing to cheer after  high school. She has loved cheering pretty much all her life.

Riley’s favorite place to cheer is at home games. “I love cheering for home games. The crowd is so much louder there, and they get really into the cheering. I love seeing my family when I cheer, too. Seeing my family there makes it a lot more fun to cheer because I know I have my own supporters.”

Riley’s goals for the season are to get her mounts up. She and the team will work hard every day to succeed. Even after succeeding, the cheer team will find new stunts and work hard at them as well.
