David Blaker is a senior in high school and a outside linebacker for the Rockets.

David is number 23 and has lettered for four of the six years he has played for the Rockets. David’s best performance was against Carmichaels last season. He made 12 tackles and 3 defensive plays during the game. According to David, the most difficult part of football is “the physical aspect.”

David really enjoys the team aspect of football.  “We are all together,” said David. No player can be an individual on the team.

For all underclassman athletes, David feels that hard work is the key to success. “Working hard will get you on the field.”

David does not plan on playing football in the future because he will focus more on his grades.
