Brynn Boyd is a freshman on the Jefferson-Morgan Volleyball Team.

“This year I want to improve my skills, and I want to improve back row. To improve that I will have to practice harder,” Brynn said. She also wants to become a more well-rounded volleyball player.

Boyd decided to play volleyball because she wanted to try something new. Her cousin, Morgan Simkovic, plays volleyball as well. Simkovic encouraged Boyd’s decision on to play volleyball or not.

“I look up to college players more than the pros. I really look up to Taylor Palmer and Jess Harley,” she said. Taylor and Jess use to play for WVU. They both excels in both athletics and in academics.
