Kedar Davis – Athlete Biography
Kedar Davis is a senior at Jefferson Morgan and is a wide receiver for the Rockets.
Kedar has played football for the Rockets for 3 years and is number 86 on the team. In Kedar’s opinion, the most difficult task about football would be for the lineman because he feels that without the line, plays would be impossible.
Kedar feels that one of his best performances would be an interception he got last year and almost ran it back to score.
The most rewarding thing about football for Kedar is being in shape, bonding with the team, and the Friday night lights. Kedar also enjoys playing as a team because football is a team sport. Kedar does not plan on playing football in the future because he plans on playing basketball in the future after high school. Kedar does look up to Kevin Durant and he is a professional basketball athlete. Kedar’s uncle and cousin have played football at Jefferson Morgan and Kedar has carried on that tradition.
When Kedar was asked, “What advice would you give to a lower classman looking to play football or already playing?” Kedar replied, “Give every game and practice your all. Play like every game is your last.”
