Gavin Wood is a freshman and a member of the Jefferson-Morgan golf team.

“This coming season I’m looking forward to getting better,” said Gavin. For anyone wanting to play golf Gavin said, “it is a great sport to play and to go out and have fun.”

Gavin’s goals for the season is to try to keep his scores in the 50s.  It will be hard for Gavin to fulfill his goal because golf is a hands on sport. Gavin looks up to Tiger woods because he is the greatest of all time at golf.

When asked why he wanted to give golf a try Gavin said, “because I liked to watch golf and I thought I would be fun to play.”

Gavin does not plan on becoming a pro golfer, but he will enjoy the rest of the season.
