DL Garrett is a sophomore and a member of the track team.

Garrett decided to begin running in track because he felt as if he wanted to try something new – something other than baseball.

“I like to run with the same people on our team in events,” Garrett said when asked about who he liked to do track with.

Garrett, when asked about the most difficult part of track, responded with a reasonable answer.

“The most difficult part about track is having to be able to pace yourself for the long distance events,” he said.

Garrett also claims that he will be continuing track in the future because he takes enjoyment in it.

“I enjoy doing track because it’s something that I like and I think that I can become better at it,” he stated.

Overall, Garrett enjoys his choice in doing something new, whether it be through tough times or great memories.
