Summertime is the time to spend with your friends and family. It’s a time where you get to enjoy the warm weather with the people you love. It’s a time were most of your worries go away and you can relax more. With plenty of things to do in the summer, you shouldn’t get bored.

One thing to do in the summer is go to an amusement park. Kennywood is a local amusement park that everyone loves to go to. Not only do the rides draw them to Kennywood but the Potato Patch Fries are a big hit too. Another park to go to on the hotter days is Sandcastle. This water park has tube slides, a lazy river & a jumbo wave pool, plus kiddie rides, go-karts & buffets. The Pittsburgh Zoo is also a nice park to go into. The Pittsburgh Zoo is one of only six major zoo and aquarium combinations in the United States.

Another thing to do in the summer are concerts. Concerts are a big hit. Concerts are a great way to spend time with your friends. Summer concerts are always fun outdoors. Some places where local outdoor concerts are big, are Stage AE and First Niagara Pavilion.

Some other things to do in the summer that are not as expensive are go to a local pool> Waynesburg and Carmichaels are two local pools where you can spend a day and have fun. The cost is about $6 for children and senior citizen and $8 for adults. This is nice place to get out of the house and spend it with your friends and family. When the nights are chillier there are things to do like have a bonfire or go to the movies. A lot of people like to build a bonfire for the later nights with friends and family. It is a good way to spend some time with each other.

There are a lot of different activities to do in the summer with school being out. Try and spend some quality time with your friends and family. It’s a time to soak up the sun and have a good time with minim worries. Don’t waste your time sitting in the house, go seek adventure.
