Brynn Boyd is a sophomore and a member of the volleyball team.

As a four year member of the volleyball team, Brynn’s position is a middle hitter. In volleyball all the players play together as a team. The players have to  work together to hit the ball over the net. Scoring takes all the right moves and all of the right plays which happen together. Every single player has a different position that plays an important role which makes the team stronger.

Boyd said,”When you are part of a team it is like you have a second family.”

Many volleyball players have role models and special people in their lives who have helped them along the way. These people can be an older experienced person who has played volleyball in the past or currently playing. They can be  family members who have always been there from the start. These kind of people are there to encourage players to not give up and to be the best they can be of and on the court.

Boyd said,” My cousin, Morgan Simkovic, inspired me to play because she was a great volleyball player and I try to play with the intensity that she did”.

In sports, many players have goals and accomplishments that they want to be able to achieve. Goal keep the players focused and determined during the volleyball season.

Boyd said,”I want to improve over the season and have players from the other team fear me when I’m at the net.”
