Dennis Garrett is a junior and a member of the varsity high school basketball team.

Garrett is a point and shooting guard. His favorite basketball memory is when he was a freshman because they made playoffs that year and he got to play against a D1 athlete.

“I am really looking forward to playing Carmichaels this year because they are our rival and I just want to beat them,” said Dennis.

Garrett prefers to play at home because of the crowd.  His favorite part about basketball is being able to be around the people he loves and winning.

“Some advice I have for some of the younger class men is to strive for greatness, set goals, lift during the off-season, and just play like it is your last game,” stated Garrett.

Being the son of the head coach can be a little tough. He likes having his father as his coach because he want to be better, so he listens to him.

Garrett’s love and passion for the game is very big. He is looking forward to the rest of the season with his team and hoping to make playoffs.
