Makenzie Wright is a junior a member of the cheerleading squad.

Though Wright stated she had no personal goals, her and the squads team goals are to master more complex stunts and to create more school spirit.

She and her squad wish to complete these goals by practicing new stunts or just stunts she hasn’t gotten down. The squad also requested more prep rallies for school spirit and fun.

Wright has been cheering for 10 years, although she didn’t cheer her freshman year.

Wright also stated she feels her junior year was the best performance for not only her, but for her squad as well.

Her favorite part about the sport would have to be cheering under the lights of a Friday night game.

Although Wright will not follow through with cheerleading after high school, she still said that “cheering made a great impact on me”. She stated that it will keep her positive through out negative situations because that’s what cheerleading is all about.
