Kallie is a freshman and a member of the varsity cheerleading squad.

As a three year member of the cheer squad two of which were her middle school years, Miller has been chosen as a varsity flyer. As a flyer, she has the ability to fly above the players and cheer them on.

“Cheer has brought me unlikely friends,” said Miller. “I never thought I’d be as close as I am with some of the girls on the squad, but I’m glad I am. They’re super supportive and always help push me to be the best I can be,” added Miller.

Millier’s favorite part about being on the cheer squad is being able to go to many games and to support all of the players.

“Cheerleading is an interactive sport that can get everyone involved,” said Miller. “Even if you’re sitting in the stands you can be involved as well. We have many cheers that needs the crowds help to be able to do them.”

Miller’s friends were the ones to encourage her to try out for the cheer squad. She ended up falling in love with it and plans on cheering the rest of her high school career. 

“Cheer brings everyone together in a fun and safe place.”

Miller cannot wait until her next game, so she can be with her friends once again cheering on the football team.
