Michael Ludrosky – Athlete Biography
Michael Ludrosky is a junior and a member of the varsity football team.
Ludrosky has been playing football his whole life. That makes a total of 11 years including the two years of high school football. He has lettered twice, and every year it has been a fight to get his starting position as a defensive guard.
“There are a few other guys who could do my job just as good as me,” said Ludrosky. “That’s why I have to run every play harder, smarter, and faster and give it all my every single second. I can’t ever back down because I know I could lose every thing I just worked for.”
His size, quickness, and sense of awareness is a big part of his position on the field.
“The pre-game butterflies and the adrenaline during the game is my favorite part of the game,” said Ludrosky. “I am looking forward to the Avella game because I think it will be a big win and give our team the confidence we need to win some more games,” added Ludrosky.
Ludrosky is now a junior this making him one of the more experienced players on the field. The football team will rely on Ludrosky to keep the defensive line in the correct state of mind. With all the younger players he will have to do this to maximize the team’s performance.
“The hardest part of the game is pushing through the pain when your team needs you the most,” said Ludrosky.
Ludrosky is hoping to make a big improvement this year, not only as an individual, but as a team too.
“The reason I play football is so I can spend quality time with my friends that I call family and make some great memories with them along the way,” said Ludrosky.
After high school Ludrosky plans on attending college to be an art teacher.
