Cameron Cernuska is senior and four-year member of the rifle team.

“I enjoy all things shooting related, so joining the rifle team was an esay decision,” said Cernuska.

Going into the season, Cernuska was fueled by last year’s individuals as well as the section title win.

Shooters have a variety of distractions during matches, so finding focus is important.  Cernuska offers this advice when it comes to staying relaxed during a match, “By having a routine and sticking to it.  Staying calm and collected.  This takes practice.  Controlling your breathing is also very important.”

Last week, the rifle team won its 4th consecutive WPIAL Section Title.   This makes Cernuska a four-time Section Champion.
