Aiden Kern is a freshman and a first year member of the rifle team.

Kern is being very optimistic about the season. He has been setting goals to strive for and reach through out the remainder of the season. He has previously prepared himself for this sport by shooting correctly and practicing for fun.

“One goal that I have set for myself is shooting over a score of 95 in a competition,”  said Kern.

Kern has a great passion for the sport and he has fun competing. Even though Kern is a first year member, he has plans of improving himself further more. Being that this is Kern’s first year means that he has learned many new things through out the season, which means that he has advice for underclassman coming into the sport.

“In this sport, it is very important to be teachable, and always listen to the coach; always be willing to learn new things” Kern said.

Kern has a great aspiration for learning along with other members of the team. He looks forward to reaching his goal, and learning how to properly shoot.

“One thing look forward to is learning more about the sport, and how to properly shoot.” Said Kern.
