Josh Wise is a sophomore and a member of the football team.

Wise plays tight-end and slot receiver and is a 2-year member of the team. On the field, Wise wears the number 88, worn by many famous receivers. He prepared for this season by attending summer lifting and team conditioning. This is a sport he loves so of course, he dumps a lot of time into the off-season. He sees this team going far in the future.

“We have lots of talent on both defense and offense,” says Wise. “We just got to play to our potential and not give up.”

The coaching of a team can either make or break it. Wise believes that we have a very motivational staff that makes us better every day. From watching the film to individual help the coaches never give up on someone.

“They push us to be better every day,” said Wise. “Practice might be hard, but it’s only to make us better in the end.”

Wise has lettered in his previous year as a freshman and has the support of his family at home. This prompts him to do his very best every single play. He even has his biggest fan in his family.

“My Aunt Marcy (is my biggest fan) because she loves her dude, ” stated Wise. “She has a great time coming to all the games.”

Wise plans on playing football for the rest of his high school years. He hopes that they can hopefully do good their senior for football.

For Wise, the coaching staff is doing its best to prepare for each game.  “They push us everyday to get better.” He does agree that the team needs more work.  “Their efforts needs to increase overall.”
