“The Simpsons,” has killed off the original character everyone knows and loves, Larry the Barfly.
After 35 years of being in the show, Larry has officially retired. Know for his very few words and was often seen at Moe’s Tavern with his friends Homer, Lenny, Carl, and Moe. In a a recent poll on X, there was a vote, ‘Who will breathe their last?’ Larry was chosen because of his few words. In the recent episode, his friends realize they don’t know a whole lot about Larry, so when he dies they make up a story. The story was about how Larry loved fishing and the whole gang went on fishing trips. Afterwards, his friends go on a journey to spread his ashes along Serenity Falls.
After the episode aired, Tim Long apologized to fans for the sad loss.
