Jefferson Morgan withholds an Autism Annual Walk, encouraging certain students to participate where there will be treats and surprises.
Jefferson Morgan holds a yearly autism walk in April, during which students of all ages can walk a mile or two. The event is held at JM, where food, vendors, resource tables, mascots/princesses like the Easter bunny, entertainment, and game stations will be showcased from 12 to 2 p.m. This time frame allows students to explore other stations while or after walking. Additionally, this walk will be held on the 12th, on a Saturday. A variety of treats will be displayed throughout the walk, while merchandise will be sold to support autism acceptance. For an extra special treat, since the walk is held during the holiday of Easter, the school will throw an easter egg hunt, hiding eggs filled with surprises to satisfy the students and participants even more.
Briefly, Jefferson Morgan will hold an extravagant event, highlighting the importance of autism acceptance for students and others, while offering treats and activities.
