Alexander Flenniken named Clarksville Lions Club January Student of the Month

Alexander Flenniken, son of Bill and Lea Ann Flenniken of Rices Landing, is Clarksville Lions Club January Student of the month. Alex maintains a 4.26 GPA.

Flenniken is a four year member of Science Olympiad, a four year member of Envirothon, a two year member of The STEM team, a two year member of Debate,a six year member of Academic Team, a six year member of marching band, a four year member of county band, a three year of National Honor Society and a three year member of Leo Club.

As a member of Boyscout Troup 1168 for seven years, Flenniken has earned his Eagle Scout. His Eagle Project included running over 400 feet of wire over pumpkin run creek to provide power to a recently built pavilion in Pumpkin Run Park.

Flenniken is a fireman and EMT with Rices Landing VFD.

In the fall, Alexander plans to attend Rochester Institute of Technology and major in Physics with intent to complete a doctorate program. He is the recipient of Rochester Institute of Technology Presidential award.
