Camryn Dugan named Clarksville Lions Club March Student of the Month
Camryn Dugan, daughter of Sherry Dugan and the late Chris Dugan of Waynesburg, is Clarksville Lions Club March Student of the Month. Camryn maintains a 3.92 GPA.
Dugan is Student Council vice president, National Honor Society vice president, a three year letterman in both volleyball and softball, and a member of the rifle team. She also participates in SADD/Youth Traffic safety, Interact Club, Envirothon, and Leo Club.
Dugan was recognized as the high overall female for the SCTP state championship in sporting clays. She is also a member of the Hunting Hills Hawkeyes Shot Gun Team. As a member of the 2015 WPIAL Section Champion softball team, Dugan received a citation from Senator Camera Bartolotta. She also received the Esmark All-American Athlete Award.
Camryn volunteers her time for the Kicking Cancer’s Butt Kickball Tournament as well as Relay for Life. She also helped organize the Chris A. Dugan Memorial Scholarship spaghetti dinner. Camryn received a Community Service Award from the Alpha Natural Resource Challenge Program.
In the fall, Camryn plans to attend California University of PA for speech pathology or elementary education.
