Jefferson-Morgan Centennial Lions Club has selected Madison Wright as its student of the month for September.

A daughter of Leroy and Heather Wright of Mather, Wright is a Senior at Jefferson Morgan High School where she maintains a 4.36 GPA.

Wright is vice president of National Honor Society, vice president of the 12th grade class, a three-year member of student council, a four- year member of the debate team, a four-year member of Leo Club, a four-year member of peer jury, and a member of SADD.

Wright has also earned highest honors from 9th-12th grade, and she is a four year member of the varsity volleyball team.

As a student in Mrs. Fulks RLL course, Wright planned a school wide pep rally.  She is currently organizing 2021 Light Up Night for December 9.

After graduation, Wright plans to attend West Virginia University to pursue a career in anesthesiology.
