Jefferson-Morgan Centennial Lions Club has selected Catherine Diamond as its student of the month of December.

A daughter of Anna and Ray Diamond of  Waynesburg, Diamond is a senior at Jefferson-Morgan High School where she maintains a 4.37 GPA.

Diamond is a member of Leo Club (treasurer),  National Honor Society, and SADD.  She is a three-year editor of The Rocket Reporter.

Diamond received the highest honors, and the NMSI Stem Star Award (2022).

After high school, Diamond would like to attend WVU to major in nursing and eventually become a nurse practitioner.
