Jeffrey Kovach Named Jefferson-Morgan Centennial Lions Club April Student of the Month
Jefferson Morgan Centennial Lions Club has selected Jeffrey Kovach as its student of the month for April.
Son of Jeffrey and Renee Kovach of Jefferson, Kovach is a senior at Jefferson-Morgan High School where he maintains a 3.86 GPA.
Kovach is a section leader in the marching band, and was one of two students selected to attend the JR District Band in his freshman year. In his senior year, he was inducted into the National Honor Society. Additionally, Kovach is part of the drama club, Spanish club, debate team, and the principal advisory council.
He attends Jefferson Baptist Church, where he is part of the youth group and volunteers to do community service work. Kovach also leads in activities for the church’s vacation bible school.
After graduation, Kovach plans to attend Washington & Jefferson College to study Business Administration, attend law school, and then work to become a corporate attorney.
