When the leaves start to change football season is right around the corner. People look forward to high school and professional league. In Greene County and here at Jefferson Morgan, there is always a big rivalry between Jefferson Morgan and Carmichaels. Schools are trying their hardest to make it to play offs.

In Pennsylvania everyone is mostly supporting the Pittsburgh Steelers. Not everybody likes them and have their own opinions. Mostly every Sunday and Friday night people are excited to watch some football. Jefferson Morgan, sadly this year, did not make it to play offs, but we played our hardest and ended with a good season. We wish we could of beat Carmichaels, but we will come back next year more prepared to take on the Mikes.

Watching football every Sunday is something me and my dad enjoy to do. My favorite teams are the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Denver Broncos. Both teams have great quarterbacks and are legends in the sport. My dad only likes the Steelers and I enjoy watching the games with him. Little things like this, we cherish. I grew up playing football, but eventually grew out of it and lost my love for playing it. Even though I quit playing, it does not mean I do not like watching the professionals or even the high schools go at it. It is still really exciting to me to watch all of my favorite teams.

Football has been around for ages and has been growing bigger and bigger each year. The NFL and even people associated with football come up with new products to make the sport safer. The biggest thing has been the gear, such as helmets and pads. The rules and regulations have gotten safer over a long period of time and made the sport safer for everyone.
