Assassin's Creed Syndicate Game Review

Assassin’s Creed is a game series that has been around for a while and has had many games in the series. Most games are similar to each other and they lack originality to be honest. Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is different though and has a good story this time. The others all feel the same and the story  behind the games are fun, but can get boring pretty fast.

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, like most other next-gen games runs at a smooth 30 fps at 1080p resolution. The graphics are pretty good looking when compared to the last Assassins Creed console game “Assassin’s Creed Unity”. This years game looks and plays better than Assassin’s Creed Unity, this year Assassin’s Creed Syndicate uses the same engine as Unity but there are changes to it that make a difference.

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate’s story mode is different from the others but it gets boring as the others do after some time of playing. There are some new things to do in this game that hasn’t been seen in other Assassin’s Creed games. There is a new mechanic in the game which allows players to ride horse carriages. Along with the other vehicles in the game, the horse carriages are easy to handle. There are also two playable characters that are switchable during game play. This has been seen in other games such as Grand Theft Auto: V. This is a new feature brought to Assassin’s Creed games that will add a little more interest to players.

There is no multiplayer in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. The reason behind this is because the developers say they want combat games to go back to their roots and focus on single-core game play. This is something that will disappoint players but at the same time, players will be thankful for. With there being no multiplayer there was some room for more improvements on the single player and more focus put forth towards it when fixing bugs and glitches.

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is a good game. It may get boring but it has a good story mode. The new features are great. This game having no multiplayer will put a damper on sales because a lot of people love multiplayer modes in Assassin’s Creed. This game is average when it comes to the fun aspect. This game was rated 8.1/10 on IGN.
