Before it was even December families and stores where getting ready for Christmas.  Some stores had Christmas stuff out during October. Christmas is definitely one of the most rushed and favorite holidays. Some people don’t understand what Christmas is truly about; they love Christmas because of the gifts you get. I will agree receiving gifts is pretty awesome but so is giving gifts and just spending time with your loved ones.

Everyone has their own way of describing Christmas and their own Point Of View as to what Christmas is about.  In my opinion Christmas is a time to get together with your loved ones and just enjoy there company. There is nothing like sitting at a dining room table surrounded by family and just catching up with what is going on. Families are not as close they use to be any more so the only time most families actually get to see each other are on major holidays or sometimes birthdays. Now don’t get me wrong getting gifts are pretty amazing but there is nothing like buying a gift for someone else and seeing their face perk up and grow a smile as they open up there gift. Christmas is a time to spread love and joy to everyone.  Also everyone loves this holiday for different reasons. My reason is because of all the beautiful lights, decorations, the time you get with your family and of course all the Christmas movies; especially How the Grinch Stole Christmas (the one with Jim Carry).

There is no doubt about it, Christmas is definitely one of those holidays everyone cannot wait for and ones of those holidays every rushes. But you cannot really complain; some people just cannot wait to see their loved ones, and of course some students cannot wait for Christmas break.  I have definitely been counting down the days till Christmas and until Christmas break.  Happy Holidays everyone.
