Warm weather in December is what nobody was expecting. Children want snow in December, but instead we got warm weather and rain. Adults are happy about this because snow is not really so much fun to them, but for us teens and young adults we want cold weather. Ski season is coming late this year and that is something that teens really want to do, but with no snow there is no skiing. This year for Christmas it is supposed to be sixty five degrees and rainy, not the average white Christmas.

This year I was looking forward to ski season, but when I thought the wait was over it just began again. If it keeps this up I will not be skiing until late February. Last year I was skiing the day after Christmas until New Year’s Day I was on the mountain skiing. Seven Springs can make snow nut not in sixty degree weather. All I want to do is be on the mountain. Also the weather for late archery is not going to be too well until the middle of January if the temperature will drop. The deer are not going to want to be moving and I am going to be sitting in a tree stand sweating. I was not expecting any of this weather, but I am going to have to deal with it.

This is one of the warmest Decembers and there has not been a flake of snow. I guess for this year I am going to have to be patient with the weather, because ski season is coming late. The snow will come just have to be patient and keep the heads up. I cannot wait for the snow to reach Pennsylvania. This is not going to be the usual Christmas, but just going to have to work with what we got.
