Becoming Happy

A problem for a wide majority of teenagers is trying to be happy. Sadness in others is sometimes very hard to prevent, and makes many teens and tweens go through this hard time in their life. Sometimes it can be helpful to look at books that are made to make you happy. There are a few things that can make people become brighter and feel better about everything.

Whenever I am sad over something, I will usually read a book, listen to music, or write in my journal. Writing usually takes a lot of stress out of me because I can write my feelings and describe what is going on. Though it seems like a simple task others may not cope this way. You should find what works for you.

It is also a good thing to have people to talk to when you are depressed. If you are not happy, life will not be as fun and exciting. Being truly happy is one of the greatest feelings. Many people will agree that being happy is an amazing feeling.

When upset or depressed, there are websites and hotlines that could make you feel better. Hotlines such as; US Suicide Hotline, NDMDA Depression Hotline, which is a helpful support group.
