Smile Train is a company that helps children in developing countries with cleft lips and/or palates get surgeries. Kylie Jenner has taken an interest into this charity and donated 100% of the proceeds to one of her lip kits to the organization.

In October, Jenner released a pretty pink shade of her lip kit called, “Smile”. (Kylie Cosmetics) The proceed to this product would go directly to the non-profit organization Smile Train. On Instagram, Jenner stated, “I will be presenting a check to them personally. Let’s do this.”

Recently Jenner presented the CEO of Smile Train with a check of $159,500. This money will go towards surgeries for 638 children with a cleft lip/palate.

“Through my company Kylie Cosmetics, I was able to create a beautiful pink lip kit shade called Smile specifically for Smile Train. I couldn’t be happier that 100% of the net proceeds are going straight to Smile Train to help kids around the world get the surgery they need to help them have beautiful smiles and the opportunity to live healthy, happy lives,” said Jenner. While presenting the check, she also met with Zachary. He is a patient who received a free cleft surgery because of Smile Train. There are an estimated 170,000 children born in developing countries with a cleft lip and/or palate. (instyle.com)
