Discovering+New+Things

This weekend I discovered many new places and views in my neighborhood. My friend Tori came over and we decided to run around my neighborhood. We went passed a store called Muhly’s and down by a bridge. We walked under the bridge and found graffiti drawn on the side of the bridge. When we saw the graffiti, we were amazed by the colors and drawings, even though graffiti on public places is illegal, it was still very nice to see all of the creativity that people put out. All of the colors that were on the side were very pretty and vibrant. There were names written in bright colors, drawings of faces, and quotes.

After we saw all of that, we kept walking. We walked until we saw another bridge. When we were heading down by it, we saw stairs made out of wood stumps. The wood stumps led down under the bridge. It was an open area with a fire pit and chairs. Tori and I were confused but we thought it was really cool.  At first, we were a little bit sketched out because we did not know who all would be down there. After searching the place, no one seemed to be there. We decided to take a few pictures of the cute spot and just chill out. We looked around for awhile then we made a fire and listened to music. Once it was getting late, we got up and decided to head back home.
It is always really cool to discover new places with your friends. I absolutely love that fact that the area is close to my house so I could visit it anytime I would like.
