2017 Lucas Oil AQHA Show
The annual Lucas Oil American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) World Championship Show runs November 2 through November 18 at the Oklahoma State Fair Park.
The Lucas Oil AQHA World Championship Show offers many opportunities for all AQHA members, youth and life members. The schedule is now available at www.aqha.com/worldshow.
This years schedule was developed based on fan, owner and exhibitor preferences.
The AQHA Show Department Staff made sure to meet the demands and one popular one was to group certain related classes together. They hope to also improve other things for this year’s show such as; getting classes done on time, no problems in the stalls, and better owner feedback.
To be able to compete in the Lucas Oil AQHA World Championship Show, competitors must reach a predetermined amount of points to secure their spot in each separate class. Exhibitors and their horses show all year long to gain enough points to be able to compete at the show. The show get’s it’s name from their sponsor, Lucas Oil Company.
The official American Quarter Horse Association Instagram ( @officialaqha ) account post’s daily about the past shows to help get more fans and hopefully future competitors to attend this year’s show. On Wednesday November 1st the account posted information about a scratch off game from Wrangler. The prize to the game includes tickets for one night at the 2017 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, George Strait concert tickets, airfare, hotel, plus $300 for food and any fun activities you want to endure in. So, come on out to the Lucas Oil AQHA World Show for fun, entertainment, laughs, smiles, and great food!
