Within the holiday season, pies, cakes, and cookies are more than likely always with desserts. Although these treats are delicious and comforting, there is always room for improvement, different treats to try, and to step out of your comfort zone within baking.

Although these sweet treats are different, they are incredibly simple to make. They only take approximately half an hour to complete including preparation time. These treats also include incredibly common ingredients just as other treats. The ingredients include flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, eggs, whole milk, vanilla extract, unsalted butter, two apples which are sliced, and optional powdered sugar for dusting. After making these delicious desserts, they are available to be served in many different ways. After baking, most sprinkle powdered sugar on top and serve. Although, they are beyond delicious whenever glaze is also dipped onto them. For a glaze, the ingredients are also a small list. This list consists of powdered sugar, salt, vanilla extract, and milk. These treats are used for a quick snack at breakfast, or they can be served with ice cream for dessert. Even the next day, these treats can be heated up within a warm oven to be just as fresh as the day before.

In conclusion, these treats will add a touch of diversity to the simple dessert table during this holiday season. These treats are able to be customized in many different ways which enhances the flavor. These treats fit within the holiday and fall seasons.
