As a senior in high school the most important thing to do is count down the days until graduation, well most students think it’s the most important thing. After being in school for 12 years that last year students are ready to be done. Some students will decide to further their education by attending college but it’s a different experience and more freedom. Young adults won’t have to follow the same routine everyday doing the same things. In college you don’t have class at the same time everyday, you don’t have the same class five days a week, and if students stay on campus they don’t have their parents always telling them what to do. Students graduating are ready for change, ready to decide what comes next in their life. Seniors enjoy that they get to take their finals a bit earlier and get out a week before the other students. Once their finals are complete they know that they have officially completed high school, now they wait for commencement. On the day of graduation no one knows weather to be happy or to be sad. Seniors have been waiting for this day but now that it’s here will they be ready to leave? Being in a school with the same peers since kindergarten and realizing you may never see some of them again can be very challenging. Students will remember their high school careers for the rest of their lives and cherish every moment but their ready for a change.
