Favorite Memory: Spending my senior year with the best of friends making wonderful memories together.

Advice to the underclassmen: Always be yourself because you only attend high school once.

Plans after high school: Attend Southern New Hampshire University online to earn a degree in healthcare office administration.

 

Kayla Yorko

Favorite Memory: Winning the WPIAL softball championship my junior year and winning the first ever section title for Jefferson Morgan my senior year in basketball.

Advice to the underclassmen: Don’t take it for granted, I promise it will go by fast so do not blink. Live a little, make friends. Go out and have fun with friends. Play sports. Be yourself. By the end of it, you will look back and regret things you did not do more than the things you did.

Plans after high school: Attend Penn State Fayette for a physical therapist assistant or to major in business.

 

Chance Bennett

Advice to the underclassmen: Don’t drink and drive, trust me I spilled my juice.

Plans after high school: Workforce.

 

Nicole Venick

Favorite Memory: In the 8th grade I dressed as Mr. Ardeno for dress like a teacher day. Mr. Lohrer told me the he couldn’t look at me because he would laugh while trying to teach class.

Advice to the underclassmen: Work hard and focus on school, it goes by quickly so enjoy it while it lasts.

Plans after high school: Attend the Air National Guard and begin school at Waynesburg University to study secondary education.

 

Brittany Broadwater

Favorite Memory: At the girls playoff game a couple of the cheerleaders and I went in the corner of the gym to practice a basket toss. We surprised our coach and it was the first time doing a basket toss in front of a crowd for our last event.

Advise to the underclassmen: Always try your hardest and if you need help don’t be afraid to ask questions.

Plans after high school: Attend California University in the fall to study elementary education/special education.

Favorite Memory: Winning the Tuff Puff game against Carmichaels.

Advice to the underclassmen: Don’t be lazy.

Plans after high school: Attend California University.

Favorite Memory: Beating Mapletown in football my senior year by one point with the final score being 15-14.

Advice to the underclassmen: Take the SAT’s once your junior year. Don’t wait until your senior year. And also to try your best in everything you do because someone Is always watching

Plans after high school: Attend Penn Commercial to study welding .technology.

Favorite Memory: Every time my friend group and I laugh so hard that we started crying.

Advice to the underclassmen: Always give 100%, unless you’re donating blood.

Plans after high school: Attend Thiel college for mortuary science.

Favorite Memory: Playing football and learning physics.

Advice to the underclassmen: Study hard, don’t take the easy path.

Plans after high school: Attend Virginia Military Institute to study mechanical engineering and ROTC.

Favorite Memory: Beating Carmichaels in football my freshman year and cheering at the game.

Advice to the underclassmen: Don’t wish high school away. Take every opportunity you can to be a part of the student body and to be with your classmates.

Plans after high school: Attend the University of Pittsburgh, major in molecular biology, minor in English literature on the premed track and then attend medical school to be a cardiologist.

Favorite Memory: Softball team winning the WPIAL title my junior year.

Advice to the underclassmen: Enjoy EVERY moment because it goes by WAY too fast.

Plans after high school: Attend Slippery Rock University with a major in exercise science in the pre-physical therapy program.

Favorite Memory: Football games with friends.

Advice to the underclassmen: Don’t procrastinate.

Plans after high school: Attend Robert Morris University to major in biomedical engineering.

Favorite Memory: It involves a smoke machine and a rainy day.

Advice to underclassmen: The mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell.

Plans after high school: Go to college and make cash money.

Favorite Memory: When the student section was allowed to use the color run powder at the football game.

Advice to the underclassmen: Do not wait last minute to get to know everyone. Talk to every person in your classes.

Plans after high school: Take a year off to gain a West Virginia residency to attend West Virginia University the following year.

 

Kayla Sloan

Favorite Memory: Meeting my best friend Kayla Pendland. I will never forget getting on bus 205 and being asked if I could sit with Kayla. I thought it was so amazing to find someone that had the same name as me.

Advice to the underclassmen: Never give up on things you truly want. Don’t settle unless you’re truly happy. Make sure to respect everyone you meet with you never know when you may need a letter of recommendation. Also don’t give up on school. Yes, it’s hard and overwhelming but it will pay off in the end.

Plans after high school: Attend Waynesburg University to double major in psychology and criminal justice.

 

Maria Christy

Favorite Memory: Dressing up as mermaid man and barnacle boy with Brittany for the volleyball game against Carmichaels, that we won.

Advice to underclassmen: Be a part of as much as you can. Getting involved is the best part about high school, it keeps you busy and you build a lot of friendships.

Plans after high school: Continue my education in the healthcare/medical field or in something with business and accounting

 

Jakob Bissett

Favorite Memory: Storming the court sophomore year when the volleyball team beat Carmichaels to go to playoffs.

Advice to the underclassmen: Your lunch account will be negative, don’t sweat it.

Plans after high school: Attend California University and study Environmental Science and become a wildlife fishery biologist.

 

Nick Hillsman

Favorite Memory: Winning the Tuff Puff game against Carmichaels.

Advice to the underclassmen: Don’t wait for anything.

Plans after high school: Attend Penn Commercial to get a welding certificate.

 

Fred Clark

Favorite Memory: Competing with the J-M Marching Band my junior year as drum major and winning first place in all three of our competitions.

Advice to the underclassmen: Join a club or team, if you aren’t already in one, so you have a drive to stay in school and keep your grades up.

Plans after high school: Attend Washington and Jefferson College to study neuroscience and mathematics.

Favorite Memory: I popped two kick balls in the same day and our gym class was not allowed to play it anymore.

Advice to the underclassmen: Expect to eat chicken patties a lot because they are served almost everyday.

Plans after high school: Join the workforce and get a job on the pipeline and work my way up over the years.

Favorite Memory: Winning the WPIAL Championship in softball my junior year.

Advice to the underclassmen: Be prepared! Do not wait until the last minute to do things.

Plans after high school: Attend California University and major in communication disorders to become a speech pathologist.

Favorite Memory: Color toss at the Carmichaels vs. Jefferson football game.

Advice to the underclassmen: Don’t hesitate to get involved. You’re not going to get made fun of for participating.

Plans after high school: Attend Saint Vincent College for psychology.

Advice to the underclassmen: Apply to every single scholarship.

Favorite Memory: Playing varsity basketball for four years.

Advice to the underclassmen: Know that more than likely the friends you started out with won’t be the friends you end with.

Plans after high school: Attend another school to further my education.

Favorite Memory: The dodge ball tournament when all the classes got to play the teachers.

Advice to the underclassmen: Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t do it cause you can. Anything is possible if you set your mind to do it. Shoot for the moon if you miss you will still be among the stars.

Plans after high school: Attend WCCC and get a degree in early childhood education.

Favorite Memory: Going to Rolling Meadows Nursing Home to give an elder man a picture I had painted him. He could not thank me enough.

Advice to the underclassmen: If you want to play a sport definitely do it.

Plans after high school: Be a general contractor.

Favorite Memory: Senior prom.

Advice to the underclassmen: Enjoy high school while you can. Four years goes by faster than you think, it will be over before you know it.

Plans after high school: Attend Penn State Fayette to major in Business Administration.

Favorite Memory: Making friends that look up to me and make them feel like they fit in.

Advice to the underclassmen: Just work hard and listen.

Plans after high school: Get a job then attend Waynesburg University to major in special education.

Favorite Memory: When I joined the powder puff team, it was the best experience of my life.

Advice to the underclassmen: Enjoy high school while you can.

Favorite Memory: Stealing trail mix out of Mr. Friends car with Maria Christy and Anthony Patterson and leaving an IOU on a napkin.

Advice to the underclassmen: Be yourself and enjoy high school because it goes by super fast and before you know it you” be a senior.

Favorite Memory: Beating Carmichaels in football my junior year.

Advice to the underclassmen: Work hard or you’ll regret it.

Plans after high school: Attend California University to study fishery and wildlife biology.

Advice to the underclassmen: Come to school and do your homework when teachers give you time in class to complete it.

Advice to the underclassmen: Do your homework it helps out a lot.

Carly Morris

Favorite Memory: My friend Kacey asked me to do color guard with her. I had no idea what that was, but I was up for trying something new and I turned out to actually love it. It was so wonderful being part of a team.

Advice to the underclassmen: Don’t wait til the last minute to do things because it causes for more stress on your shoulders. Be prepared.

Plans after highs school: Attend Washington Health System to be a part of their two year program to become an RN.

Favorite Memory: When our rifle team won sections.

Advice to the underclassmen: Go 100% whether that be in academics or athletics, give it your all.

Plans after high school: Attend Waynesburg University to major in nursing then continue my education at West Virginia University to become a nurse practitioner.

Favorite Memory: Senior prom

Advice to the underclassmen: Listen to your teacher and understand what they are teaching. Ask questions and really apply yourself, success comes with hard work.

Plans after high school: Attend Carlow University to become a nurse practitioner.

Favorite Memory: Building and fighting the robot for the BotsIQ teamate tec.

Advice to the underclassmen: Don’t look too far ahead of life. Always live in the present and don’t let your past define who you can be.

Plans after high school: Westmorland County Community College for machining.

 

Trevor Kniha

Favorite Memory: Receiving Scholar Athlete and being named All Conference two years in a row.

Advice to the underclassmen: Do not take your grades lightly, get them up and keep them up.

Plans after high school: Attend Waynesburg University and major in nursing.

Favorite Memory: In the Avella football game when I caught my interception.

Advice to the underclassmen: Enjoy your eligibility while you can. Take all the years you have to play the sports you love.

Plans after high school: Enter into the workforce.

Favorite Memory: Being able to join color guard and make a new family out of band during the last six years.

Advice to the underclassmen: Do not procrastinate, it will catch up to you.

Plans after high school: Attend St. Vincent College for Pre-Vet.

Favorite Memory: Winning the section title with my basketball team.

Advice to the underclassmen: Senior year flies by, do everything that you can because you will miss it. Enjoy the time that you have.

Plans after high school: Attend WCCC for an ultrasound technician.

 

Chase Kovalcheck

Favorite Memory: Dancing after my birthday shout out at senior prom.

Advice to the underclassmen: Remember to enjoy every moment, even the ones that seem unimportant at the specific time because you can never change the past, but you can always change the future.

Plans after high school: Attend Franklin and Marshal College in the fall as a pre-med student with a major in biochemistry. Later, I hope to attend medical school to become and orthopedic surgeon.

Favorite Memory: When we launched rockets in Mr. Pratt’s chemistry class.

Advice to the underclassmen: Have as much fun (safely) as you can.

Plans after high school: Join the United States Marine Corps.

 

Bradley Buljat

Favorite Memory: Mr. Corbett’s room everyday because we always have fun in there.

Advice to the underclassmen: Remember buses are coming at 2:47 p.m.

Plans after high school: Join the United States Navy.

Favorite Memory: Making art in art class and taking time to do projects and listen to Mr. Lesko ramble.

Advice to the underclassmen: Be nice to Mr. Corbett.

Plans after high school: Attend a trade school to train in auto body.
