Always be Youself

If high school has taught me nothing else it has taught me how to be myself. Students believe that the best thing to do is fit in but why try to act like something your’re not. Not everyone you meet in life is always going to like you or want to be your friend but you can’t please everyone.

To be yourself you first have to accept yourself for who you are. Some people think that they have to please everyone and act a certain way so they are liked but you have to just be yourself. Your friends in life aren’t going to be the exact same as you, everyone has their own way of doing things, you’ll just have things in common.

Over the years I have made all my friends from just being my self and letting them see who I really am. I have never been someone to follow along and be like everyone else, I’ve always been my own person and and tried to lead and be an example for others. Some people think they have to be accepted by everyone and that is not true. As long as you believe in yourself that’s all that matters. Being accepted in high school by others is one of the most difficult things for some students. They seem to think if someone doesn’t like them it’s their fault and it’s hard for them to get over the fact like someone dislikes them.

Being yourself is one of the most important things to do, never be something your not to make someone else happy.
