My Final Farewell
May 27, 2016
Senior+Year

Senior year has been quite an eye opening experience for me, and many others can probably say the same. Everything changes when you are a senior. It becomes your last everything, and the memories that you have shared through the years with your classmates are soon to be over. 12th grade is unlike no other grade. From day one, it has sunken in that it was my last first day, my last volleyball game, my last basketball game and soon to be last softball game. My last time walking through the halls on the wrong side with Janessa, and running to beat Mrs. Huba to her room so I could talk to her.

Although the senior class fought sometimes and did not like each other, in my opinion, it has been one of the best classes. Maybe I am just a little biased, but we get along and these last few weeks have been bitter sweet for everyone. I will miss the time spent in class, even though the bell could not come soon enough at that moment, I will miss walking into the gym for pep rallies and hearing the beat of the drums in my chest as you walked to the senior section. It is crazy to me that in a short few weeks, it will be my last time I walk through the halls and feel like I belong. Last time I make faces at the team, and hear Jamie yell my name from down the hall. Senior year has been an emotional roller coaster with what all of us should do with our lives and how we will make everything work. It has been fun here at JM, and I hope everyone in the future has the same bitter sweet memories as they go through high school.
